Polokwane Caregivers’ Retreat Report

Sr Bernadette Lamola reports that Polokwane Diocesan Welfare and Development organised a retreat for caregivers led by Sr Thea. Twenty one staff members participated.

From her report:

“The retreat was beneficial because we reflected on Scripture, and the sermon prepared by the priest was talking to each of us. The participants shared their stories and problems. It was touching, it gave us hope, love and caring. People do understand their work is for God not for themselves, allowing participants to reflect peacefully with mind and hearts. The facilitation was organised and welcoming. The retreat provided enough time to speak to God with regard to the good and bad that have happened in our lives, and to encourage one another.”
