Maria Ratchitz Hospice Burns Down

The SACBC AIDS Office joins the Franciscan Nardini in prayerful support after the Maria Ratchitz hospice near Wasbank in the diocese of Dundee was razed by fire after it was struck by lightning.  All patients were moved to safety and no one was injured.

It was at Maria Ratchitz some years back that one of the sisters died rescuing patients after a fire had broken out in the old hospice building.

A number of AIDS programmes are co-ordinated at Maria Ratchitz.
