Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield visits Nazareth House
Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a deputy secretary in the US Department of State, visited the anti-retroviral clinic at Nazareth House in Johannesburg which has been supported by PEPFAR, the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief since 2004. Several thousand patients, many of them foreign nationals have received life-giving anti-retroviral drugs.
PEPFAR funding for Nazareth House ended in May 2015, and the clinic is now supported by the Gauteng Department of Health.
