Emaus Heritage Centre Youth Retreat

Young people reflect on their role as youth leaders.

16 Youth from the Durban Cluster participated in a retreat at Emaus Heritage Centre, in the Umzimkhulu Diocese. We learned about Abbot Francis. We reflected on our role as youth leaders through making sacrifices like Abbot Francis did. We learned how much positive change and empowerment can effect in the youth of the Catholic Church through wise choice making and discipline in our own lives. We shared the different challenges we experience in our own dioceses. We reflected on, shared and appreciated the good and blessings we have in our lives and dioceses. We also shared suggestions/ solutions that we can implement as leaders of the young people of the church. We appreciated and reflected on the role of God in our lives.
