How to raise funding to support programmes is challenging
The SACBC AIDS Office organised training in fund-raising and proposal writing conducted by Rural Development Support Programme for participants from orphan and vulnerable children’s projects looking at long term options for their projects in a climate where fund-raising is a challenge. Participants were challenged to think about the vision, aims , strategies and objectives of their organisation, and their plans and budgets for 2015, in preparation for designing a funding proposal and building realtionships with potential donors.
