Kopano Lerato OVC, in Winterveldt, Archdiocese of Pretoria, celebrated Mandela Day on the 1st August 2015 with visitors from Aurecon Engineering Company referred to us by the SACBC AIDS Office. On that day 67 teenage girls and women were invited to commemorate 67 minutes of love, inspired by the late Nelson Mandela.
Beneficiaries were given education on issues affecting woman of all ages and they were divided in 2 groups, youth and adults. Education sessions on HIV, teenage pregnancy, STIs, disclosure and parenting skills were conducted. At the end of the programme lunch was served and food parcels were donated
