SITHANDIZINGANE, East Rand, Archdiocese of Johannesburg sent us a report concerning some of the activities they have conducted.
We distributed most of the PEP clothes to the children. Some children received school uniforms.

Children participated in a sports event hosted by another organization (soccer and netball competition). At the end of the tournament the organisers handed over certificates of participation to individual children.

Twenty two children benefited from a group discussion held by NICRO on crime prevention which was good for the children especially for the on-going support of our teenagers. The children had visited the prison earlier this year.

12 children from Australia helped with art classes with our children. They created masks, painted T-shirts and also joined in playing sports. Student social workers from Germany also assisted in our holiday programmes.

At the end of the school holidays programme, children got to show case their talents.

We have received 17 New NACCW (isibindi) students from Social Development to be here at the project to work with us.

Two children were abandoned by their mother who left them behind and went to Pretoria; we managed to place the children in a place of safety.

We also managed to assist a family to acquire birth certificates for 2 children who will also receive child support grants.
