AIDS Relief’s vast contribution to ARV treatment in Catholic programmes

The AIDSRelief programme of the Catholic Relief Services consortium begun in 2004 has wound up operations in all of the ten countries in which it provided anti-retroviral treatment with a grant from PEPFAR.

The SACBC AIDS Office was originally part of this programme, from 2004 until it received funding directly from PEPFAR.

The SACBC AIDS Office currently has two treatment sites of the original twenty two initiated, and will support them until May 2015. Nazareth House, Johannesburg and Tapologo, Diocese of Rustenburg.
