PEPFAR Intern, Witbank Diocese

Monitoring and evaluation training, Orange Farm, Johannesburg
The SACBC AIDS Office will have a PEPFAR intern placed in the Diocese of Witbank orphan and vulnerable children programme with effect from the end of March. The internship programme is an initiative to provide university graduates with an opportunity to gain workplace experience in their field of interest, to provide assistance to an organisation which is in need of particular skills, and to be given the chance for possible future employment in the particular organisation concerned once the year long internship programme is over.
Tinyiko Chauke, SACBC AIDS Office intern, who will be stationed at White River in Mpumalanga, was taken to various OVC Centres around Gauteng to learn more about programmes and services for vulnerable children. In the photo she is receiving training on the Monitoring & Evaluation reporting system from Marisa Wilke from Catholic Relief Services as well as from Mary and Babzille from Inkanyezi OVC programme in Orange Farm, Johannesburg.
